Edward Augustus, Duke of Kent, was the fourth son of Great Britain's King George III and Queen Charlotte and father of Queen Victoria (1819-1901). He married Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld on 29 May 1818. The firm Tatham & Baily was founded in the 1780s and had premises at 14 Mount Street.
